Bhargav Srinivasa Desikan is Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy Research, working on AI, Data, and Technology Policy. Prior to joining IPPR, he was doing a PhD on Deep Learning at EPFL, but dropped out to work at the intersection of AI and Society and to consult leading law firms, regulators, governments and NGOs on AI. He received an MA in Computational Social Sciences at the University of Chicago on a full scholarship and was research and teaching fellow at the Knowledge Lab. He is currently writing the book "Thinking with Deep Learning", has authored the book "Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics with Python" and has spoken at 25+ conferences. He is an open source contributor (e.g. pycobra and comp-syn) and has over a decade of programming experience. Bhargav's work is featured in Nature, NeurIPS, JMLR, Cognition, ACL, and has appeared on news media such as Financial Times, BBC, Guardian, the Independent, and more.

Kirit Thadaka is a product manager and solution architect specializing in AI and ML. With a decade of experience, Kirit excels in scoping, building, and launching innovative AI/ML solutions across diverse industries including finance, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, and gaming. His career commenced at early-stage startups with roles in research, engineering, and technical leadership. Subsequently, Kirit advanced to large-scale enterprise roles at Amazon and Slalom, where he honed his expertise in product management and solution architecture, driving strategic initiatives and delivering impactful, scalable solutions.

Luke Kim is an investor and business developer in AI. He has 10+ years of experience building global ventures, raising 25+ million and leading go-to-market for multiple sold-out launches. Luke is a 5x hackathon organizer (e.g. 3 Day Startup, Mobile World Congress, CITRIS) and co-creator of Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator at UC Berkeley Center for Entrepreneurship. He has been running an AI studio that studies and experiments with the latest technical advances. He has been an advisor to public sector innovators at consulates (e.g. Norwegian, Swiss, Latvian, Dutch) and cities (e.g. Syracuse, San Francisco, Miami).
